When was the last time you looked in the mirror, telling yourself, "I am beautiful, and I can do it." This simple phrase creates a significant impact to lift your spirit and proudly stand for yourself. Maybe it is hard to convince yourself at times, but the only person who will help you is yourself.
You always plan what to wear and the shade of lipstick that should fit your wardrobe whenever you go to an office, in a meeting, occasion, or school. Some days, you call one of your closest friends to figure it out, from your clothes, shoes to accessories, you ask for somebody for an opinion. Every so often, you are having a hard time facing the crowd, talking with colleagues and strangers, and having endless doubts about your ability. And some days, you choose not to attend important events just because anxiety consumes your head that people will always say something about you.
When will you get tired of just sitting in the corner and watching people around you instead of gracefully mingle with everyone, talking and laughing? Isn't it just a waste of time wearing an expensive dress and perfect shade of lipstick, but you are timid about expressing yourself?
I also had a moment in my life where I always worried about people's judgment. I always saw myself lacking ability and beauty, questioned and doubted myself and compared it with others. But none of these helps me mold into the person I am today. As I get older, I realize putting down on yourself will never let you grow. It obstructs you from flaunting and brag your passion, your talent, or your unique ability. Also, I felt exhausted, wasting so much time paying attention to criticisms, although criticisms often become our best teacher to be better and do better.
I want to share with you these five things that you can apply to yourself and might help to regain your confidence:
The first thing you need to do for yourself is to embrace and accept everything about you. We have our own imperfections, but it does not mean you will let yourself stuck and never have the courage to begin your own life story. The moment you learn to accept yourself is the moment everyone will welcome and accept you.
If you have a particular skill or talent that makes you happy, then it's time to start doing it. Doing what you love will describe the kind of person you are and show how passionate you are about your craft. Through this, people will be more interested in getting to know you more and believing in your capability.
Everyone should keep this in mind. Being positive in everything you do will elevate your motivation to accomplish your goals. Positivity will encourage you to do better and believe in your ability, and the people around you will also trust you. Remember that a positive mind will reflect on your personality, and everything you do will produce a positive result.
I agree! There is a significant impact when you surround yourself with people who believe, trust, and supports you all the way. When you surround yourself with good people, all the difficulties, anxiety, frustrations, and negativity seem manageable and easy to deal with because there are people behind your back who trust you.
We are all imperfect persons; we made mistakes, we have our failures, we have weaknesses but don't let this consume you, there is a better way to cope with these imperfections, and that is by learning from them and making a better self. In every stumble and fall, we gain moral lessons that we can apply to our daily living. We can inspire people when you become a better version of yourself.
There's nothing more beautiful to a woman wearing her confidence, no matter what she wears, her body shape is, and her status. Well, I understand that some days are exceptions. Day by day, it requires our different version of ourselves, which puts us on the hot spot and starts questioning our capabilities, but it should not distract us and move forward.
